Starting your HIST326 Research

1. Gather the info you already know. Include the names of students, the specific years you are researching, what you know about international affairs at that time, the name of the country at that time, etc..

2. Start with a general search of digitalcommons.calpoly.edu. This will search across several collections, including the student newspaper, Academic Senate, and the Cal Poly Report.

3. Try searching Cal Poly's Digital Archives. This may turn up different results than Digital Commons.

4. Search Senior Projects. Learn how to search for senior projects

5. Search collections that have not been digitized. Learn how to search these collections.
