Hardware Tools for Digital Projects

At the Digital Projects Lab, a variety of hardware tools are available for creating digital projects. These tools can be accessed by making an appointment with a member of the Digital Projects Lab team. Campus members are welcome to make an appointment at any stage of the project process -- whether you have a project in-progress, have an idea in mind, or just want to see what is available.

Welcome! The Digital Project Lab Student Peer Assistants and Specialists are now available to help with GIS & Mapping, Data Science & Stats, Graphic Design, and more. Our goal is to help you find data, apply software tools for exploration and analysis, and communicate effectively using data and design principles.

You can set up a time to meet with one of us below. You'll find us centrally located on level one of Kennedy Library in the Digital Scholarship Studio.

Twenty-four Dell Precision 3680 workstations are adjacent to the Digital Scholarship Studio. Each has the following:

  • Intel i9-14900 5.8 GHz, 24 cores
  • 32 GB RAM
  • 16 GB NVIDIA RTX 2000 GPU
  • Dual 22” Screens

Scanners

Three flatbed scanners are adjacent to the Digital Scholarship Studio. Each has:

  • A3 page size (11.7” x 16.5”)
  • 600 dpi
  • Simplified touchscreen scanner interface
