A Cycle of Revolving Research

When first learning about a topic you can start and move to any point in the research cycle depending on the type of information you need. If there is insufficient information on your topic, review the earlier steps for starting your research. It’s normal to refine and revise your topic multiple times.

Types of Information: Reference Material = Basic Facts and overview of topic ; Newspapers & Magazines = Interviews and details from time of event. Editorials or opinion based analysis ; Books = Background and in-depth information ; Academic Articles = Scholarly research and analysis
